The reasons for closing are twofold:
1) Our products are manufactured out of the EEC, therefore the do not fall under EEC manufacturing standards, even though they are accepted in Canada and the USA which have similar and in some cases more stringent laws. From the links below to the AHN site you will see that change is inevitable and
that change to the laws is coming. In acknowledgement of this we have chosen to cease sales rather than be faced with a situation where we find our stocks becoming illegal and unsellable over night.

2) Ultimately the decision to
cease trading was strongly influenced by the negative comments and falsehoods
spread by Mr Jeff Bowe. In
dealing with Mr Bowes vivid imagination and juvenile actions we have been
forced to divert funds away from various Tibetan support projects and seek
legal advice in trying to get him to retract proven falsehoods. We are still
unable to contact Mr Bowe to take down his scandalous websites lies and
speculations concerning Tibetanway. It would appear that he has changed
his phone numbers and as they say ‘slipped off the radar’ or in
popular parlance ‘done a runner’.
Ultimately all businesses run on a
profit/loss basis, with the added EEC/WHO legislation issues and the constant
drain on our funds by Mr Bowe, who purports to support Tibetan rites and
freedoms yet is actively draining refugees funds from our organisation, we
find ourselves having to call it a day and concentrate on our other fund
raising projects and internet marketing in aid of supporting Tibet..
